The NJROTC curriculum emphasizes citizenship and leadership development, as well as our maritime heritage, the significance of sea power, and other naval topics. Students enrolled in NJROTC will have the opportunity to participate in community service events, competitive teams (armed and unarmed drill, drone, academic, physical fitness, and color guard), STEM activities, field trips, and summer leadership camps.
The character education in NJROTC teaches values, principles, and self-discipline promoting positive, productive behaviors. Cadets of the Warrior Battalion develop a high degree of personal honor, self-reliance, individual discipline and leadership.
